Overall a worthwhile addition to your Qabalistic studies, I must admit I bought this book in my 20's and later gave it away. Now that I have jumped back off into the Qabala once again to tie everything in. It now makes more sense to me, while I do not subscribe to dogmas that mire down the Qabala. This is an excellent reference book, packed with information on the sephiroth, correspondence, paths, numerology and just about everything else in between, I will say this, this is the kind of book when you decide to undertake a serious study of the Qabala, otherwise its like trying to decipher a code in a dead language.You definitely have to be in a certain head space to appreciate the work of Crowley, which is akin to Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. My only complaint is the table of correspondences the printing is so small, you need a magnifying glass to read through them. But overall a worthwhile addition to your occult library.

I have no idea if the contents of the book are of any interest to me. The print is so very little and it is a large complex writing. Too big to constantly use a magnifying glass. The margins around the print are the widest I have ever seen. Perhaps Amazon just photocopied the original book without bothering to see if it was legible. I suggest getting this book at a bookseller, Amazon's version is worthless. Zero stars is more accurate of a rating.

I love this book, it is very interesting! My understanding of Qabalah and Gematria has been greatly enhanced by studying this book. I had also purchased the Cabalistic Encyclopedia by David Godwin at the same time, which has Sepher Sephirot(from 777) included and I find myself always referring to Sepher Sephirot when using that book. (Not to disparage Godwin's book, I love it too).I keep 777 right by and handy all the time and refer to it daily. There is a lot of information in there. I also find it inspiring, like I do all of Crowley's works I have studied.Published by Weiser, I love the quality of this book. It just feels good in the hand, nice paper and formatting. I have a few of their books(Weiser's) and I am impressed with the quality of each one of them. Good job!

Arrived ahead of schedule and in great condition. I really enjoyed this as a reference to Crowleys' other works.

No one has mentioned the nice "E Ching" guide in here and I'm delighted it has been included...the bulk of the book is mostly charts and a few essays on the topics of qabalistic study. Not sure how essential it is for the novice reader but it's a nice book for someone who collects the writings of Crowley. Sure in the future it will come in handy as I buy other collections to go with it.

This is a must have text for any serious Ceremonial Magickian and follower of the Golden Dawn and Crowley's interpretations of the Qabalah and the Gemmatric tradition.

A must have resource. I wish the print were larger.

Look at all the correspondences for Netzach, including colors, scents, and goddesses, and then use your imagination and decorate and prepare your altar! (That might be a rather physical form of love, though. Want love on a higher plane? Then try the correspondences for path 14. It will be more nurturing and loving, untainted by the corruption of Netzach.)There is also a lot on Gematria which can be useful for some magicians, I suppose. To be truthful, I feel Gematria is somewhat overrated in modern magick, due in part to Crowley. Certainly it has its place, but I've seen too many magicians put way too much credence in the way numbers add up to the point they become silly numerologists. Either way though, here is a good place to start for making your own Gematric encyclopedia.
